Our Story

The Restu Foundation has been a beacon of Quranic preservation and promotion
in Malaysia for over 37 years. The foundation, which consists of the calligraphy,
design, and research and development departments for the Quran, is located at the
magnificent Selangor International Islamic Arts Garden Complex in Shah Alam,
Selangor, Malaysia.
Our printing factory is in Putrajaya, Malaysia, where we ensure the highest quality in
producing these sacred texts.

Our Culture Of Copying And Illuminating The Quran

At the Restu Foundation, we are deeply committed to the hand copying and illumination
of the Quran, reflecting the timeless beauty of Islamic art. Each Quran distributed
will be more than just a text; it will be a work of art adorned with zukhruf. These
illuminations capture the rich history of Islamic art while embracing the identity of the
corresponding country or language spoken. We ensure that the communities receiving
these Qurans feel their culture is honoured and represented.
